Amazingly, despite how accessible this area is to so many kayakers, there remains an unbelievable amount of first descent and exploratory rivers in BC. We will bring a four wheel drive and warm clothing as we spend weeks on end in the back country of one of the world's most beautiful areas.
China/India Cooperation Year: November - December 2007
Providing an expedition opportunity like no other, this will be a Tibet to India journey on the Subansiri, the sister river to the Yarling Tseng Po. Between the travel, permits, governments, weather, water, 12,000' canyons and much more, this effort will require as much if not more planning, execution and diplomacy as any expedition ever attempted.
Interior Colombia: January 2008
Jesse and Ben are the only core team of expedition kayakers traveling interior Colombia with our contacts forged over three years of exploration. Tremendous opportunities and serious considerations await this untouched region.
Northern Brazil: March 2008
The Goias region of northeast Brazil contains the longest river in this massive country, the San Fransisco, dropping 9,000 feet from source to sea. Brazil is one of the wettest regions on earth and has unlimited potential.
Hotel Charley: The Lost World Film Tour: April – May 2008
Jesse Coombs and Ben Stookesberry will embark on a 40 city film tour throughout the United States including the major river festivals, Spring and Summer events.
US Exposure: June – August 2008
Jesse Coombs will spend the summer traveling and kayaking throughout the US spending time in many communities, kayaking with locals on their rivers and gaining increased exposure for his sponsors.
