Why I use North Face Gear
By Jesse Coombs
When you want elite expedition and technical wear, then you want gear from The North Face.
Setting the gold standard of expedition camping and technical gear since 1966, The North Face is
the company I trust to get me through the harshest Indian winters and toughest Canadian conditions.
I hike and boat through knee deep snow and ice in Oregon winters and in sun baked California and Colorado
in the spring and summer.
The approach gear that keeps me protected from the elements and bugs during the
hikes and dry and happy at night has got to be The North Face. Staying warm and dry at night nothing beats
my Ultra-light tent and 0 degree Superlight sleeping bag.
For the approach I'll have my Denali fleece,
Flash down and Antigravity shell tops ready for any conditions. And with my North Face, pants, shorts, shoes,
flip flops and accessories I am prepared for everything I might encounter.
When I want to wear very cool stylish clothes around town or to a nice function, I always look sharp sporting my
North Face apparel. Wearing this casual technical clothing is easy for me and natural for my lifestyle.
I don't have to think hard about what I'll be wearing, but I know I'll be looking good.
The North Face is
the top of the line technical gear company that I know provides me with the best support possible to my
most challenging trips.
The North Face is also leading the charge for environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
The North Face's president, Steve Randle, just received the distinguished honor of 'The Exemplary Corporate
Stewardship of Mountains Award' recognizing individuals who are dedicated to protecting mountain cultures,
and embody the mountain spirit.
Nature is my spirituality, and I could not be more proud to represent such
an environmentally responsible company.
