Wood Corbels Strategic Applications
There are actually at least three types of corbels, based on the materials used to create them, i.e. stone, metal and wood corbels. Corbels can be applied for both exterior and interior. Exterior corbels require hard and durable materials. Thus, they are commonly made of metal and stone. In the other hand, interior corbels do not require sturdy material because the visual look is more important. The consoles will improve the appearance of the furniture and interior.
Wood Corbels for Interior Application
There are some parts of home interior that need the application of wood corbels. They can be for furniture or for architectural aspect. The examples are wood corbels for countertops. They connect the cabinet or island to the countertop while presenting detail ornamentation. Some other applications are for fireplace mantel, shelving units, and kitchen upper cabinet.
